Paolo is Partner of BFPartners a Global Advisory in Green Chemistry & Energy Solutions with more than 20 years international experience in the biofuel, biomass and energy sector. After more than 10 years in consultancy, for the last 10 years Paolo has worked in Germany with Clariant first as Head of Business Development and later as Head of Sales&Marketing in the Biofuels and Derivatives division with responsibilities focusing in EMEA, North and South America, India and AsiaPacific.
Paolo has developed expertise in bioethanol & biodiesel processing technology projects, renewable chemical, biotechnology, biomass to power, sustainability management and lobbying expertees being a Board representative both in the European Biodiesel and Ethanol associations (EBB&ePure). Paolo holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Politecnico of Milano.
