Antonis Kokossis

Professor of Process Systems Engineering
Dr. Kokossis, FIChemE, FIEE, FRSA, and FIET is Professor of Process Systems Engineering at NTUA & the Leverhulme Trust Visiting Professor, Imperial College London, UK. He graduated from NTUA and Princeton University. He has worked extensively in UK (18 years) as a university professor (UMIST) before he joined the Chemical Engineering School at NTUA. His expertise includes process systems design and integration, renewable energy systems, process intensification, biobased processes, and circular economy. He has consulted with several international companies (UOP, ICI, Bayer, Mitsubishi, Exxon, Eastman, MW Kellogg, BP Oil, Unilever, Chimar, BPF, CIMV, DSM, Arkema, Granherne, Linnhoff-March) and counts over 300 conference communications, 200 publications, and 80 invited lectures. He represents Greece at the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) and served as the Programming Vice-Chair at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
Prof Kokossis is recently an elected member of the Executive Board of Trustees at EFCE and the Chair of its Sustainability Section.
