Matteo Prussi

M.Prussi is an industrial engineer, currently working as senior researcher at the Energy Dept. of the Polytechnic University of Turin.
Before joining Politecnico of Turin, he was scientific officer at the Renewable Energy and Sustainable Transport Unit of the European Commission Joint Research Center.
He has a strong background in alternative fuels for hard-to-abate sectors. He has been co-leading two technical groups for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Currently he is the scientific coordinator of a study for DG-MOVE maritime, focusing on developing an LCA based methodology for assessing alternative fuels in the IMO context.
