Stella is a research director and hydroprocessing group head in the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), focusing on the development and intensification of novel technologies for the production of low carbon fuels and chemicals, as well as efuels. Her research activities are supported by competitive European and National research projects, and direct service contracts with EU and non-EU industrial partners. She is the author of numerous scientific publications in technical journals, conference proceedings and monographs, member of several scientific and technology committees and associations including the European Technology and Innovation Platform. Stella is a Chemical Engineer with a PhD from Lehigh University USA, with significant industrial experience obtained from ExxonMobil, FMC Incorporation and Air Liquide.
