Dr. Takvor Soukissian is Research Director at the Institute of Oceanography of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research. His research interests include marine renewable energy sources, stochastic modelling and forecasting of extreme sea states. He is chairman of the working group on Marine renewable energy of the European Marine Board, and lead author of Chapter 16: “Developments in renewable energy sources”, World Ocean Assessment II, 2021, United Nations publication. He is author of more than 110 peer reviewed publications in journals and international conferences.
